Summary: In 2016, the School Board trustees approved Cengage Learning Big Ideas as the adopted math curriculum for Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Algebra II/Trig courses, including 8 years of digital licensing. As MDUSD will be adopting new mathematics curriculum for the 2025-26 school year, staff is requesting a 1-year extension of the digital licensing for Cengage Learning Big Ideas so students and teachers can access the adopted curriculum online.

Fiscal Impact Not to exceed $65,000
Recommendation: Move to approve the 1-year extension of digital licensing for Cengage Learning Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Algebra II/Trig mathematics curriculum.
