Summary
:
Sonja Biggs Educational Services is an Independent Service Contractor (ISC) for Related Service Providers for school based services that are identified on Individual Education Plans (IEP's). When the district (MDUSD) is not able to fill all open positions with district employees, the use of contract agencies is necessary to ensure that we are in compliance with state and federal law that govern special education. Sonja Biggs Educational Services is a company that will be utilized to provide service to student with Visual Impairments to ensure that all of our needed services are covered for the 2018-2019 school year. Sonja Biggs Educational Services has found one Teacher of Visually Impaired to assist in our current opening. MDUSD Personnel Department and Special Education continues to recruit and hire district employees.
