Summary:

On April 22, 2019, the Board awarded Bid 1831/C984 to Hung Construction Builder Inc., in the amount of $536,000.00 for prevision of all tools, materials, labor and equipment necessary to facilitate the Restroom Renovations (Group IV) at Strandwood Elementary School. This project is Group IV and the Board approved funding on May 18, 2015.
During demolition/construction, it was discovered that the following additional work was required.
1. Additional asbestos removal cost. Additional asbestos was discovered during demolition that was not identified pre-construction.
The final charge order will result in a contract value of $539,226.69, an increase of $3,226.69, which is an increase of .60% of the original contract.
