Summary:
|
CollegeboardⓇ regularly updates the course framework for each of the Advanced Placement courses. Teachers often modify course materials to adjust for changes in the course framework to properly prepare students for the AP assessments held each spring. In order to align our materials to the current framework, we are recommending the adoption and purchase of new materials for the following courses: AP Art History, AP Biology, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP Economics, AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP Environmental Science, AP European History, AP German, AP Music Theory, AP Physics Mechanics C, AP Psychology, AP Spanish Language, AP Statistics, AP United States Government, AP US History, and AP World History. Materials were available for review by the community in mid-February at the district office. Teachers from each course were given time to review both the print and digital materials from a variety of vendors and feedback was collected. Teachers from each course reached consensus and put their recommendation forward.
