Summary:
|
The State Legislature adopted and the Governor signed Assembly Bill 699 in 2017 enhancing protections against discrimination based on immigration status and for information on immigration status held by school districts. The California Attorney General issued guidance and the California School Boards Association provided amendments to relevant Board Policies and Administrative Regulations. These are presented for information on this Agenda and action at the second reading.
