Summary:

District Staff is looking to continue our use of AT&T Corporation's CALNET contracts awarded to multiple vendors for telecommunications services in 2008 through a State Request for Proposals (RFP). Since 2008, MDUSD has utilized the voice and Data provisions of the contracts which was awarded to AT&T. These contracts allow the school district to enjoy reduced pricing, and was recognized by the Schools and Libraries Program for additional E-rate discounts.
The State has approved the CALNET agreements with AT&T with the following extensions: Categories 15.2.2 and 18.3.1.1 to June 30, 2024; Categories 15, 16, 17 and 18 to June 30, 2029; and Categories 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, and 30 to June 30, 2028. District staff is requesting the Board’s approval of these extensions of the District’s CALNET/AT&T agreements to align with the State's extensions. |
