Summary:
District Staff presents the State of California's Department of General Services (DGS) Statewide Travel Management Program using CALTravelStore website and program to locate, reserve, and manage bookings and payments available to California Government Agencies. The current DGS Agreement is valid through October 31, 2023.

District staff is presenting this program to help streamline staff time in booking airfare and hotels for conferences and other district business. This program allows attendees to make their own reservations through a program that offers government discounts, and contracted rates with airlines and hotels across the United States. It also allows district staff to review and approve these requests before they are finalized. This process will save the district time and money on our travel needs.

Fiscal impact is based on the need for district staff to travel for various conferences, professional development, and district business.
