Summary:
Review and Potential Approval of the Skyhawk Sports Academy Contract for the CARES Expanded Learning Program (ELP). The Skyhawk Sports Academy (https://www.skyhawks.com/) is a multi-sport program for elementary and middle school students. CARES ELP would like to partner with Skyhawks to bring sports programs to our 16 elementary and middle school sites during the winter and spring of school year 2021/2022. The elementary schools will participate in the After-School Olympics and the middle schools in basketball, culminating with a jamboree. Skyhawks engages students in interactive drills and skill-based games. Students will gain skills, confidence, and passion to take the next step in their athletic development. Skyhawks staff provide a safe and positive environment where students learn essential skills, rules, and strategies for each sport.

The total contract amount for all sites is $67,000. Elementary students will receive eight, forty-five minute sessions, with a maximum participants of forty students. Middle school students will receive sixteen, one hour sessions, with a maximum participants of twenty students, culminating with a two day jamboree.
