Summary:

On June 23, 2021, the Board approved Item 14.7 awarding Request for Proposal (RFP) #1891 for Milk and Dairy Products for the 2021-2022 school year to Daylight Foods, Inc. Daylight Foods, Inc. has been unable to meet its contractual obligations and was served a 30 day notice letter on November 1, 2021 cancelling our contract with Daylight Foods, Inc.
Per section 20 of our bid package, the District may seek other sources to procure the items or services needed, and is no obligation to republish notice requesting bids or revise its specifications or cost estimates. Staff has reached out to the milk source, Producer's Dairy and was able to negotiate an agreement with Arcadios Produce Company, to step in and distribute milk to district school sites, as needed per our RFP #1891. |
