Summary:

MDAE requests approval by the MDUSD Governing Board to execute an Inter-agency Agreement amendment with CCC-EHSD for employment-search training and services for Welfare-to-Work (WTW) participants of the California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids Program (CalWORKs), to be added to the current work-readiness training Focus Program currently provided these WTW (CalWORKs) participants by MDAE.
An Inter-Agency Agreement (19-745-11) between CCC-EHSD and MDAE for the Focus Program currently provided WTW participants of CalWORKs, was approved by MDUSD Governing Board on August 27, 2018 for the term of July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019, for total cost of $53,000.
The Agreement Amendment to the original Inter-Agency Agreement (19-745-11) for the additional employment-search training and services for WTW (CalWORKs) participants is to be effective December 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019, according to the term of the original Inter-agency Agreement (19-745-11).
Upon approval of the attached amendment, CCC-EHSD will revise the original Inter-Agency Agreement (19-745-11) to include additional funding for the new employment-search training and services to be added to the current Focus Program. |
