Summary:
|
Currently, there are management, certificated, and classified positions that are unfilled. Staff is requesting that the Superintendent have the authority during the month of July, 2018, and August 1-13, 2018, to enter into agreements and make appointments to positions.
All positions being filled will follow our current protocol, which includes vetting of applicants' paper work, interviews, reference checking, and background screening. In some cases, the Superintendent may need to approve Provisional Internship Permits, Variable Term Waivers, and Board Authorizations (Ed Code 44256(b) and Ed Code 44258.2).
Management appointments made will follow Board Policy 4351, and all management candidates will be brought to the August 13, 2018, Board meeting to be introduced and ratified by the Board.
Non-management appointments will be brought to the August 13, 2018, Board Meeting under separate Personnel items for actions and creation of FTE for ratification by the Board. |
