Summary:
In order to ensure continuous service and support for secondary level sites with after school activities, the DMA salary schedule has been changed to reflect two new job descriptions at the bottom ranges of 1 and 2 to allow MDUSD to hire up to seven staff members directly (instead of using outside contractors for our secondary sites).  
Funding:
Variety of funds primarily After School Education & Safety (ASES) grant program code 38710 and Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) Entitlement funds program code 272601  
Fiscal Impact:
Up to a potential impact of $729,007 of After School Education & Safety (ASES) grant and Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) Entitlement funds.
