During assessments of our current elementary school hardscape needs and with the assistance of a professional inspection survey, it was identified that several elementary sites playground rubber surfaces require repair and/or replacement to avoid slip, trip and fall hazards during outside physical activity. Informal quotes were requested from our playground surface paving vendors for these five separate site projects. Upon receipt of all quotes, the recommended vendor are the low bid on the separate projects listed. In order to facilitate these site safety projects in a timely manner, approval of award would allow for completion of these projects during the summer of 2019. Scope includes a variation of complete removal and replacement of existing surfaces as well as a repair or recoating of existing surface depending on the individual needs. |
