During the roofing assessments, it was identified that the Purchasing/Warehouse is in need of roofing repair as well as new gutters and downspouts not only to prevent further intrusion and damage but for the wellbeing of MDUSD employees. The Measure C Remaining Funds & Proposed Project List presented to the Board of Education at December 17, 2018, Board Meeting included a remaining unallocated balance of $320,259. The unallocated amount of $320,259 provides sufficient funding for the Purchasing/Warehouse Roofing Repair Project, projected cost of $240,000. Approving the allocation at this time would allow for the work to be completed during the summer of 2019 before the next rain season avoiding further leaks and damage. |
