Mt. Diablo Unified School District's Request for Proposal (RFP) #1944 2024 Food Service Paper Supplies for Mt. Diablo Unified School District was Noticed on August 20, 2024. The RFP scope is to provide district-wide food service material items including paper and compostable containers, utensils, and gloves, for the 2024/2025 school year starting October 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025) with possible 2 one-year options to extend through June 30, 2027.
District staff received seven responses to RFP #1944 on September 12, 2024. All of the Proposals were reviewed by staff and five were found to be responsive. The team looked at cost, reliability, quality of the product and service. To maximize the District’s ability to procure all needed items, staff is recommending a pool of the two most responsive vendors. Excellent Packaging & Supply for compostable containers and utensils, and Imperial Dade for paper products and gloves. Staff is recommending these two vendors to be considered for this RFP award. |
