Summary:
|
In an effort to more effectively manage our workers' compensation claims, Mt. Diablo United School District will work with the Company Nurse Program. If an employee is injured on the job (and it is not an emergency) the employee calls and speaks to a registered nurse before seeking treatment. The nurse provides first aid advice and directs the injured employee to an appropriate workers' compensation treatment site. The injured employee benefits by this streamlined process since the injury report and necessary documentation is immediately sent to the medical providers which helps reduce stress for the injured employee as well as wait time at the clinic. |
