In preparation for its Accrediting Commission for Schools (ACS) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation review in 2020 Mt. Diablo Adult Education (MDAE) now requests review and acceptance of the attached MDAE Third-Year Progress Report 2016-2017 to the ACS WASC.
MDAE was accredited for a 6-year term in 2014 and will undergo another 6-year WASC review in 2020.
Please note that the attached ACS WASC letter dated June 8, 2018 was not received by the Director of MDAE until several inquiries were made to learn of the status of the attached Third-Year Report 2016-2017 which was submitted in June 2018. Finally, on May 29, 2019, a letter (scanned copy attached) was received with guidance regarding “review and acceptance” of MDAE’s Third-Year Plan, requiring MDUSD Governing Board approval. As a result, MDAE now requests Board “review and acceptance”. |
