Staff from the special education department met with site and district representatives to engage in professional development and to revise the course of study.
This course of study is being revised to align to the requirements in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) which defines transition as a coordinated set of activities that includes evaluating needs, strengths, and skills required for a student to move from high school to postsecondary life across employment, education and independent living areas of need. |
