Summary:
|
Mt. Diablo Unified School District Bid #1825 requested for Exterior Painting Improvements at Hidden Valley Elementary School, Westwood Elementary School and Oak Grove Middle School pursuant to PCC ยง20111.6. The scope of work provides all materials, labor and equipment required for the painting improvements. The invitation to bid indicates that the low bidder will be determined by the base bid amount only. The project has twelve (12) bid packages that were received on March 28, 2019 and JPB Designs, Inc. is the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder. Hidden Valley Elementary School was not included in the original request for allocation (approved on December 17, 2018), however cost estimates allowed this site to be included the budget allocation for Site Improvements/Exterior Painting. Hidden Valley Elementary School was identified to be next for exterior painting. In addition, the project has one (1) alternate component that was identified and priced in the bid. Alternates allow the District to pick and choose a combination best suited to the overall project within the budget. The alternate chosen to create the best value are numbers 1 with details listed below.
Alternate #1 adds painting Oak Grove Middle School Gym Interior to provide increased improvements to the site. |
