Summary:

|
The District needs to upgrade our upgrade our intrusion panels and the operations central station that monitors after hour alarms for the district which currently is supported by sixty two (62) Bosch security panels located throughout the school district. This project is considered Phase I of the multi-phase project to add AMS centralized management software to control all (62) locations remotely.
Phase I will address the configuration and set up of a new central station and cut over four(4) panels that will be installed and configured to AMS without affecting the current central station system and infrastructure to avoid gap in monitoring capabilities for MDUSD monitoring alarms for the district.
The future Phase II will be brought forward at a future board meeting after we transition to the new AMS system and finish the process of resolving any issues and optimizing system performance. Phase II include replacement of the remaining fifty eight (58) panels. |
