Summary:
|
District presented the Opportunity Youth Center in the Monument Corridor for Non-attending youth, aged 16-24 to the Board on 9/11/17. This center will focus on disengaged youth and will have the following educational goals: credit recovery, tutoring, mentoring, guidance counseling and connection to pathways. In addition the following employment goals would be utilized: career exploration, linked to a career pathway, work experience, internships and employment searches. The Youth Center flow chart and the proposed staffing are attached and provide more details. |
